Studio7 Dance Policies

Welcome to Studio7 Dance. This information has been put together to answer some questions you might have during the course of the year. We hope you find it helpful and we hope that you have a fun filled year here at Studio7 Dance!

Dress Code:

Studio7 Dress Code.

Covid-19 Precautions:

  • Please stay home if you or someone in your family is experiencing symptoms, feels sick, or has been around someone who tested positive for Coronavirus.

  • When entering/exiting the studio and in the lobby, please wear a mask. After students have their temperature checked and they are in the dance room, masks can be taken off.

  • Dancers will not be required to wear masks while they are dancing. Masks will only be required if the dancer needs a teacher to spot them.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided before and after class.

  • Class sizes will be limited and dancers will have their

own spot to dance in and keep their stuff.

  • To limit the amount of people in the studio, we are

asking parents to drop your child off and pick them up after class. If you do not feel comfortable dropping your child off, only one parent per dancer will be allowed in the building.

  • Classes will be let out 5 minutes early to allow our staff to sanitize, supervise drop off and pick ups, and take temperatures.

Tuition Payments:

Tuition is due monthly. Your online portal account will be charged on the 1st of the month, and the payment will be due by the 10th. Tuition may be paid online (with card or auto pay) or with cash/check. If using a credit card, you will be charged a 3% convenience fee. We are also offering auto-draft payments to make it easier for everyone. Classes will not be prorated for any holidays or missed classes. You may make up a missed class by attending another class on our schedule at any time.

Late Fees:

Payments are due by the 10th of each month. Any account unpaid after the 10th will have a late fee of $15 charged to the account. Every ten days after that, the account will be charged an additional $15. Thank you for your cooperation.

Holidays/Days off:

Studio7 Dance follows the Pasco County School schedule (https://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/library/home/calendar.pdf) for all breaks, days off, and holidays. Classes will still be held on teacher planning days. If a class is cancelled for any other reason, i.e. weather, it will be posted on the Studio7 Dance Facebook page.

Dance Performances:

Performance is an important part of dance training. Each year, in order to give all dancers a chance to perform, we will hold two dance performances: a showcase in December and a Recital in June. All dancers are encouraged to participate, but it is not mandatory.

Newsletters:

Studio7 Monthly, our e-mail newsletter, is issued once a month. These newsletters contain important information about Studio7 Dance, classes, performances, and upcoming events. Please make sure we have your correct e-mail address so we can keep you updated!

Registration Fee:

A $25 registration fee ($35 for families) will be charged to your online portal when you sign up for classes. Pay your first months tuition when you sign up to waive this fee.

Miscellaneous:

-All dancers must have a registration form and waiver filled out before taking any classes, privates, or camps.

-A $35 recital fee will be charged to your account in January.

-Dancers must be on time for class; the beginning of class is used to stretch and warm up and is very important.
